Grafikmarkt

The widely known and popular Graphic Art Market has been held—mostly during the pre-Christmas season—since 1996.

Each year, up to 200 works in a wide range of graphic techniques are brought together, featuring significant German and international artists, primarily from movements beginning in the 1960s up to contemporary art.
Among the featured artists are works by Nancy Spero, Joseph Beuys, Otto Piene, Horst Antes, Rosemarie Trockel, Daniel Richter, Peter Kogler, Thomas Struth, HAP Grieshaber, Oskar Kokoschka, Erwin Heerich, Michael Buthe, Victor Bonato, Ugo Dossi, Franz Gertsch, Jochen Gertz, Wolfgang Glöckler, Harald Gruber, Ottmar Hörl, Romane Holderried Kaesdorf, Horst Janssen, Janosch, Dieter Krieg, Martha Laugs, Nikolaus Mohr, Karl-Georg Pfahler, Joshua Reichert, Dieter Roth, Dieter Schosser, Daniel Spoerri, Clemens Weiss, and many others—forming a long list of well-known names. Also included are established regional artists such as Thom Barth, Dieter Schosser, Diether F. Domes, Hubert Gaupp, Nikolaus Mohr, and Burkhart Beyerle.

Since the pandemic, the works can also be viewed online; a corresponding link is available on the Kunstverein’s website. Art enthusiasts are warmly invited to browse the selection, visit in person, seek advice, be inspired, and gain an interesting overview of the many possibilities of contemporary graphic design. Affordable original prints can also be found, making it accessible to those with smaller budgets.
