Die Lü_ ke
A project by Kunstverein Friedrichshafen in cooperation with the artist andreasschneider and students from Bodensee-Schule St. Martin and Graf-Zeppelin-Gymnasium, Friedrichshafen. The project was made possible through the city’s civic engagement funding program.

The city of Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance is divided into two areas by a railway line: the vibrant lakeside with the old town and Zeppelin Museum, and the quieter residential area stretching back to the expressway between Überlingen and Lindau.

The goal of the school project is to identify, reflect on, and overcome and/or connect such gaps. The idea is to bridge these railway divides using a variety of materials and techniques — through posters, objects, paintings, or performances. Kunstverein Friedrichshafen warmly invites you to the opening of this school project. Come and be surprised by the diversity of the results!
